A.J. & Friends Classic Cars This picture which was taken in August 1957 shows mom waving at whoever took the photograph from our upstairs window in Peru, Illinois where I grew up. My dad's bakery truck (1950 Chev Panel) says "Ray's Cake Box" on it. I learned to drive in that vehicle. The '54 Buick was our family car that I drove that summer when I first got my drivers license. That September I was going to be a senior in high school.
